DIY Hot Chocolate Jars
Another cool idea to warm up your loved ones this winter is a DIY Hot Chocolate Jar. These inexpensive jars can be used as a fun new way of warming your kids’ nose to his toes or even as a fun little gift. These Hot Chocolate Jars give a new twist to an old idea.
This is also a fantastic gift around Christmas time – it shows thought and you can add a personal touch with ribbons or a note attached to the lid. the mason jars aren’t expensive – you can buy them pretty cheaply here.
2 Mason Jars
1 1/2 Cups powdered Hot Chocolate or 14 packs of cocoa mix
2 Cups mini marshmallows
*Optional- In the jar, you can include some melt-in-your-mouth peppermints
1) Divide the Hot Chocolate into the two jars.
2) Add 1 Cup mini marshmallows per jar.
3) Seal the jar with the lid. Tie the ribbon around the jar and attach a Hot Cocoa Tag. Then curl the ribbon.
*Around Christmas time, you can attach a couple candy canes to the outside of the jar with the ribbon.
