As many of my recent posts have shown, I’m slightly addicted to DIY ornaments. Just to prove my point further, I came up with this roundup of my favorite ornaments. Yes, this does mean that Seth and I will probably be making them to hang on our tree. I already know where my tree will go…..with what decorations on it…..and where my poinsetta will be placed…..and what lights will be hung where. But I refuse to decorate until after Thanksgiving! One holiday at a time. 🙂
Anyway, here are 10 of the ornaments I find the most beautiful. Don’t be surprised if you see a lot of glitter. You know, glitter is a girl’s best friend.
10. Filled Ornament
Filling an ornament with beads adds an interesting texture to your tree. I love the idea of white pearls in my tree!
9. Pledge Glitter Ornament
This is such an amazing ornament. I love the look of it. The glitter is flawless. I can’t wait to try it out for myself!
8. Graduation Ornament
This commemorative ornament would be a perfect gift or an awesome way to honor your recent graduate. I’ve got my own tassel I want to try this with!
7. Melted Snowman Ornament
I love the humor behind this. This will probably be hanging on my tree for years to come. Now the only thing I need to figure out is how to store it through the rest of the year…..
6. Monogrammed Ornament Filled with Glitter
I would mark mine with my puppies names! I think it would be an awesome way to give them an ornament to add to the tree!
5. Dip-Dyed Ornaments
These adorable ornaments are so easy to make. I wouldn’t mind doing this for all year round decorations! Red for Valentines Day. Green for St. Patty’s Day. Blue and pink for Easter.
4. String Ornaments
These are classy, yet still fun! I think they would look beautiful with some blue glitter….everything is better with glitter!
3. Santa Ornament
Santa will have all the kids asking for more! I fell in love with this ornament because of the cute quality it has. I found it absolutely adorable.
2. Patterned Glittered Ornament
These beauties will be sure to keep your room bright with elegance. I like them because there is a ton of glitter and sparkle.
1. Oversized Glitter Ornament
Oversized ornaments don’t have to go on your tree. They are best for decoration. I decided to hang some of the ones I made above my window. They look lovely there.
